New Zealand’s Ōra King Salmon takes center stage.
Ōra”, in the native Polynesian Māori language of New Zealand literally means “Be Well”. So, The New Zealand King Salmon Company, named their ultra-premium superior quality King Salmon, Ōra King Salmon.
The culinary experience presented by this world-class fish provides a remarkable flavor profile. Each bite delivers a subtle essence of wild strawberries, followed by a buttery richness, complemented by large, velvety flakes of the finest quality.
The New Zealand King Salmon Co. Ltd has obtained the world-leading Best Aquaculture Practices certification from The Global Aquaculture Alliance. Moreover, it is a “Best Choice” for consumers according to Monterey Bay Aquarium’s globally respected consumer guide, Seafood Watch.
Each salmon undergoes meticulous hand trimming, removal of skin and bones, and portioning into 8 oz fillets before being vacuum packed and frozen rapidly.
Ōra King Salmon is a healthy option, thanks to its omega-3 fatty acids and essential nutrients.
These fillets are versatile and flavorful enough to satisfy even the most discerning palates, whether grilled, broiled, or baked.

If only Steve Martin’s character in ‘Dirty Rotten Scoundrels’, had access to nutrition that is as exclusive as our New Zealand Ōra King Salmon, he wouldn’t of had to act like a moron as the character ‘‘Ruprecht’’, for Michael Cain. With all the natural Omega 3 oils in this outstanding salmon, his brain would have been more effective at finessing money out of rich women by himself.
Storage, handling and cooking instructions:
To ensure maximum flavor and satisfaction, we recommend storing the fillets in the freezer at a temperature below 0⁰F.
Before cooking, defrost the salmon overnight in the refrigerator, and ensure to rinse and wipe the fillets off. During the cooking process, it is important to reach a safe internal temperature of 145°F, as recommended by USDA guidelines. For this purpose, we suggest using a food thermometer to confirm the salmon’s temperature before serving.
